By tomorrow, we will have had the 6th birthday already this month among family and friends.
Somehow the other months don't feel as filled as August. I think the start of school crowds the month even more. And who knows, it may even get busier.

My mom, sister and my birthdays are in November, then Thanksgiving and then its straight into the holiday season. I always feel super stressed about that time. We have mini birthdays though, no huge parties just small gatherings of those really close.
Every single year, for as long as I can remember, my mom gets a carrot cake for me for my birthday and SH, the kids and I stop in there for cake and ice cream. The weird part....I HATE carrot cake. My mom got the idea at some point in the past that I loved it and I don't want to tell her any different. SH usually makes me a home made white cake, which is my favorite.
We're extra busy in August too. So I guess that makes our parents extra busy in November!! We call it cake season at our house ;)
September, November and March. But the big winner is January. All I can think of is April = spring = CELEBRATE! = January babies!!! HA! As for all of us September ones; well, Merry Christmas. Haven't figured out the other two yet.
Cake. Birthdays mean lots of cake; I like JoJo's "cake season"!!! When I was a teenager, since my Mom was manager of the bakery/deli of a large area supermarket, I always got the "bakery" cake. Until her best friend found out my favorite was/is chocolate cake with seven-minute frosting, her specialty. Every year after, until I was about 19, she would bake me a chocolate three-layer cake with pink seven-minute frosting. Num. What I wouldn't give for one of those right about now!

August is busy for my family, and May is busy for DH's family! It tires me out!
This time of year gets a tad bit expensive for us. Back to school clothes, supplies, etc.; gets a bit pricey. My tween who is a soon to be teen has a birthday in the beginning of September - need I say more. I'm not proud and am willing to take donations - lol.
Ummm...yes, August for us, too! My brother, step-brother, step-sister, goddaughter, step-daughter and Memaw! And that's just immediate family. :)
